This fact allows you to recover even those data that seem to have been irretrievably erased.

To restore them, you will need one of the following applications. They work best if your phone has root access set up. It lets you read data from locked system memory partitions. However, on non-rooted devices, it is usually possible to find recoverable files too.

This app lets you search for and recover photos, videos, images, as well as music, audio recordings, and other data. But you’ll have to pay for the advanced features.

Download and install DiskDigger, click the “Start a simple image search” button. Then restore the found files to your phone memory or, better yet, somewhere in the cloud.

This tool can work in trial mode for one week, then you have to pay a subscription. The program copes with the recovery of photos, audio recordings, and videos.

Undeleter

Undeleter works effectively with root rights. Without them, the program is not able to find many deleted files. Nevertheless, this application is also worth trying.

They restore deleted data if nothing new has been written over them. You can find more such applications in our selection. For example, we will consider the principle of action of the free program Recuva.

When the process completes, select the files you want, click Recover, and specify where to save them.

Most importantly, don’t write anything on the SD card before scanning to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Keep in mind that even the most advanced specialized programs cannot always recover erased data. So get in the habit of backing up via cloud storage, so that you don’t have to search for lost files later.
